The Ups and Downs of the Land – Arizona

After a week we moved to Black Bart’s RV Park in Flagstaff, Arizona.  It was cooler than usual, since Flagstaff is at a higher elevation.  Before moving, we actually visited two national parks: Walnut Canyon and Sunset Crater.

Walnut Canyon

Walnut Canyon has a hike down to the dwellings where Native Americans once lived.  It was shady, steep, beautiful, and cool.

Sunset Crater

A landscape created by Sunset Crater Volcano, the ground was often covered in layers of black rock.
