Sometimes pets can be a little crazy. Here’s a behind the scenes look at some funny pictures I’ve taken of our pets. Stay tuned for the last one…it’s the funniest.
1. Pet Costumes
While we may enjoy seeing our pets dressed up in cute outfits, our pets don’t especially like it. Here’s Ruby, dressed up as a teddy bear with a red heart on her bottom. She is uncomfortable in clothes and was sitting on the armrest for some reason.

Tennessee really wanted a bite of Tanner’s food. We’re not sure if she even likes mango, but she was just a kitten anyway. To this day, some of her favorite table foods are yogurt and oat milk. She’ll try anything, though.
7. Curiosity Killed the Cat
With all the exploring Tennessee has been doing recently, it’s really fun to capture moments like these. Both of our cats like drinking out of people’s cups. This is the reason I empty mine after I’m done drinking water.
8. Julius' Occupations
Ladies and gentlemen, on this side, we have Julius the Hunter! He is an expert at catching and killing bugs. If you can’t reach the bug, we’re 99.9% sure Julius can. Tight spaces, high places—he can do it all! We can’t guarantee he’ll dispose of the body properly, however.
And on this side, we have Julius the…Hacker? Computer Sitter?
What is up with cats and computers? Ours love sitting on the keyboard and messing things up. Going on a bathroom break? Grabbing a bite to eat? Don’t forget to close your computer first, or you may come back to a whole lot of gibberish on your screen.
9. Too Bright!
Julius was actually just being playful, and I took a picture of him swatting at something. It kind of looked like he was shielding his eyes from the light, however.
10. Are You Serious?
When your mom likes dressing you up, and you don’t appreciate it…
If that costume looks familiar to you, that’s because it is. It’s Ruby’s, and Mommy wanted to see what Tennessee would look like in it. Cute, but what does she think? In the second picture, Meowzy is clearly not having it. I mean, look at those eyes. Have you ever seen a grumpier kitty?
11. Is That Me?
“Look at that! It looks like a cat, doesn’t it? How does it compare to me?”
Here’s Tennessee, investigating the carpet Mason made Mommy for Christmas. This thing was new to Tennessee, so of course she had to check it out.
12. Dishes
I think this one speaks for itself.
Julius loves sitting in anything—pots, pans, boxes, anything with an outline, really. Whenever we get something in the mail, Julius likes to investigate the boxes. If it’s big enough, he’ll sit in it. He literally dozed off in this colander. His other favorite place to sit is in our cooking pan. We’ve learned not to be surprised when there’s cat fur in our food.
