The day after moving to a Thousand Trails RV park in Paicenes, California, we visited four different NPS places. The first was Eugene O’Neill NHS. Eugene was a playwrite, and we got to see his old house.
The second was John Muir NHS. John Muir is considered “The Father of Our National Park System.” We explored his house and learned about his life.
The third was Rosie the Riveter WWII Home Front NHP. The place was a museum, focused on the lives of those who lived in America during World War 2.
The fourth was Point Reyes NS, established to preserve and protect the seashore wildlife and natural resources. The museum inside the visitor center was very well-designed.
